Our biggest fan has left the building!
With great sadness, the family of Richard (Dick) Tauvette announces his peaceful passing, surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, February 7th, 2021 at the ripe old age of 87.
Survived by his loving wife Natalie (Nettie) of 64 years. Dearly loved by his children Sherri (Dennis), Chris (Barb), Mark (Marilyn), late Brenda, Phil (Mary-Jane) and Jim (Tracy). Grandfather of Lindsay (Bryce), Megan (Kyle), Kristy Lynn (Thomas), Josh, Justin, Cody, Tianna (Frank), Kim (Matt), Megan (Steve), Terri-Jo, Ryan, Korie and Nick. Great grandfather of 8. Youngest brother of 8. Brother-in-law of Jennie (Don), Amelia (Doug), Pat (late Bob), and Stephanie (Fred). Uncle of many.
Special thanks go out to Dr. Buehner and Dr. Booth for their compassionate care. Our biggest thanks to the wonderful and caring nurses and psw’s on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital.
A private family service will be held on Wednesday February 10th, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to ARCH or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (payable by cheque or online).
