It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Steve at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the age of 79.
Cherished husband of Mary Clare for 44 years. Loved dad of Cathy Douglas (Frank). Special Papa of Eric and Andrew Douglas. Brother of the late Karcsi and Zoltan Szabo. Brother-in-law of Josette McDonald (Blaine), Michelle Cerenzia (late Joe), late Joanne LaPlante and the late Paul LaPlante (Debbie). Special uncle of many nieces and nephews, especially Brent Cerenzia (Adelina) and Renee Harrison (Doug). Steve will be missed by his dear friends Ron Dixon (Barb), and Duan Lunan.
A celebration of life will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020 from 7: 00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a time of sharing at 8:00 p.m.
