Surrounded by his family and friends, Chris unexpectedly passed away at Sault Area Hospital, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the age of 57.
Chris will be forever missed by his loving partner and best friend Sharon "Baby". Dear father of Christopher Jr., Krystal Lynn (Gianni) and Nicholas. Stepfather of Star, Aaron, Bear, Journey and Jonathan. Dear Papa of Aiden, Giana, Olivia, Ava, Ashden, Phoenix, Raven and Trinity. Beloved son of the late Bernadine and Louis Syrette. Loved brother of late Bernard (late Bev), late Herman, David, late Gerald (late Bev), Patsy (Wes), late Tony (Sharon), Kit (Gary), Lorraine, late Joe (Loah) and Noel. Special Godfather of Janelle and Pamela. Cherished uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Chris is now reunited with his best friends William and Doug. He also leaves behind his buddies Bobby, Tammy & Tokins, Mike, Maynard, Pat and many more. He will also be missed by his winged companion Tweet Tweet.
Chris loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He loved thunderstorms and long walks in the bush. He was also a dedicated Leafs Fan. He loved all his family and friends so very much.
Friends are invited to join the family at the Garden River Community Center on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev Robert Mugisha and Mr. Willard Pine will take part in the celebration of life. Interment Garden River Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donation (payable by cheque or online) to Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
