“I love you more!” “Come here and give me a hug!” “Did you eat today?” “What can I bring?”
The second she walked into your home; she needed a hug. Before she left, she made it known she wasn’t leaving without another. Her tight hugs were taken away from us on Monday, October 23, 2023.
She leaves behind her two greatest accomplishments, Wyatt and Emma. Left to continue each day without her by their side are her parents Brian and Suzanne Sweeney. She will be immensely missed by her best friend, protector and brother, Brian Sweeney. She was the best big sister, secret keeper and biggest blessing of Sabrina Sweeney. Her two little buddies and Number One Hero’s will forever hold onto her memories, Noah and Nathan Sweeney.
A bond that was greater than blood, special soul sister of Amy Turcotte and beloved Auntie to Kayla.
Her second family held a special place in her heart. Frank, Lucy and Michael Zimbaro. Family gatherings were something we all treasured.
Much adored granddaughter of the late Rose Sweeney (Bev Egan), Jean-Claude Desgagne and Floraine.
Much loved niece of the late Chrissy Veldt, late Chris, Therese Bernard (Gerard), Maurice Desgagne (Rose), Barbara Desgagne (Andy) and Lynne Tanner (Harold).
Treasured niece of Mary Mcminn (Gary), Anna Marie, Louise Jean (late Bob), Danny Sweeney (Jane), John Sweeney (Pat), late Ray Sweeney (Posie), late Bob Sweeney and the late Gloria Lay. Adored great niece of many great aunts and uncles.
Adored niece and special caretaker of her Uncle Micheal Sweeney.
Cousins that hold a tighter bond can't be found. She will be immeasurably missed by many cousins, neighbours, coworkers, friends and her friend's children.
Angie had a special crew of the finest friends who are now dedicated to being "Angie's Angels" Lindsay, Renee, Jocelyn, Amanda, Lacy, Kelly, Tressa, Keri, Tanya, Shannon, Lisa, Loralei, Cara, Brandy, Tracey, Meghan, Ally, Anastasi and so many more that she shared cherished friendships with, you know who you are.
Whether you knew Angie for years, or a couple hours she treated everyone with the upmost love and respect.
The family would like to thank the community for the outpouring love during this very difficult time.
There are no words to say that can explain how we feel. To the first responders that night- our hearts go out to you, and we are truly thankful for your endless efforts.
Angie, you are now safe and in paradise with your three precious little angels. Your heart was so pure and authentic. Too good for this earth. We promise to take your light and let it continue to shine- we will tell your story. We will shout it from the rooftop. We will take care of your children. We will try to perfect your veggie pizza and hash-brown casserole. We will take our vitamins and get ample amounts of sunlight. We will have a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, or the entire bottle if it's "one of those days". We will try to make this world a better place. For you; one hug at a time.
We strongly encourage all family, friends as well as the community to come out to the Grand Gardens North (1324 Great Northern Road) on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 2pm-8pm to celebrate, share stories and be together to honour our beautiful Angie; please dress in your brightest, boldest attire.
To honour Angie, a trust fund has been created to assist her children. The family would like any monitory donations to be e-transferred to a[email protected] alternatively, cheques can be made out to Suzanne Sweeney so that all funds can go directly into the account set up for each of them.
We love you Forever! And ever. And ever. And then some. A hundred times over. Love you forever and a day! Daddy’s baby girl.
