Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 on her 90th birthday at the Sault Area Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” A. Swan. Loving mother of Debbie Stone (late David), Donald (Shelagh) and David Smith (Susan). Cherished step-mother of Jack (Connie), Mike (Kim), Bob Swan (Cynthia) and the late Karen Swan (Matt Burger). Devoted grandma of Andrea Pietramale (Serge), Michael Stone (Laura), Jonathan Smith, Nicola Day (Steve), David (Teresa), Stephen (Jamie), Andrew (Rebecca), Sean Smith, David, Jeff (Sahar), Mike Jr. (Sam), Kenzie, Jake and Cydney Swan. Great grandmother of 19. Dear sister of Echo Oliver (Dave). Predeceased by her siblings Waverly Haist (late Norm), Art Kadwell (Inez) and Ron Kadwell (late Carol). Dearly loved by many nieces, nephews, her great nieces and great nephews.  Lois was loved by all whose life she touched which included not only her closest friends but her extended family as well. A private celebration of life was held. Memorial contributions to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Multiple Sclerosis Society or the ALS Society would be appreciated.
