After a courageous battle with cancer, Bob passed away at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the age of 47. Loving husband and best friend of Valerie for over 27 years. Cherished father of Robert (Tiana) and Christopher. Son of Bill Steeves (Amy) and the late Shirley Steeves. Brother of Carol L’Heureux (Art). Son in law of Ross and Faye Eaket. Brother in law of Cheryl Smithers (Don Mireault) and Wendy Parr (Scott). Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed auto racing and going to Laird Raceway. Special thanks to Doctors Walde and O’Brien and the nursing staff of the Sault Area Hospital Oncology, Palliative Care and Cancer Clinic Units. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 11 am until time of service in the chapel at 1 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
