Went to his glorious homecoming to meet his Lord and Saviour on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the age of 84. Loved and cherished husband of Bette (née Davidson) for 62 years. Adored and loved father of David (Leanne), Lori Stanghetta (Mel) and Bonnie Rasor (Jim). Grandfather of Christopher Spring, Kristin Stanghetta (fiancée Chris Izydorczyk), Mindy Stanghetta (Nicholas Minardi), Jamie Rasor and Matthew Kendrick (Stephanie). Great grandfather of Leah Kendrick. Son of the late Frank and Florence Spring and son-in-law of the late Wilbur and Elfleda Davidson. Brother of Nancy Postons (Arthur) and the late Delphine Harvey (late Frank). Brother-in-law of Bill Davidson (Anne) and the late Keith Davidson (Laura). Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Visitation to be held at the Arthur Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 6 - 9 pm. Funeral service celebrated in the chapel on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1 pm. Mr. Bruce Cain officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Society or the F. J. Davey Home would be greatly appreciated. Fred's family would like to say thank you to the F. J.
