Peacefully at the Grand River Hospital Kitchener Ontario, on her 89th birthday, October 10, 2004. Loving wife of the late Aldege Spooner (1979). Special friend and companion of the late George Hodgson (2002). Dearest mother of Robert (Bob) Dawson (Jackie) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Florence Thompson (Beverley) of Windsor, Ontario, Linda Thompson of Kitchener, Ontario, the late Calvin Dawson (Marg), and the late Gerald Dawson. Loving sister of Isabel Sartorelli, Lila (Tiny) King and the late Mary Chisholm. Loving grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 24. She will be sadly missed by special friends Dorothy Delabbio, Blanch Hicks and Vera Grant. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of the 6th floor north and the 5th floor south, Dr. Maurice, Dr. Bol and Elaine of the Grand River Hospital.
