It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Jane at the age of 86.
Daughter to the late Leslie and Jean Currie. Caring wife of the late Larry Sperry. Fun mother of Catherine White (Greg), Charles (Carolyn), Patrick (Jessie), Gordon, Douglas (Judy) and Wendy Petingalo (Mark). Proud "Gramma" of Bill, Brock, Bryan, Bradley, Jennifer, Nathan, Kelsey, Shannon, Jessica, Tyler, Jake, Blaire, Megan and the late Micheal. She leaves behind her brother Jim Currie. Predeceased by her siblings Joan, Lorna, Donald and Bobby.
Jane above all loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. She had a passion for travelling, and going to her camp at Cooper Lake. She will be fondly remembered for her hours of selfless volunteer work, playing cards and her unique ability to sew anything she wanted. She loved swimming, cross-country skiing, fishing walking and being active. She was a very understanding woman, and always listened without judgement, she always tried to be fair and never had "favorites".
As per Jane's request a private family service has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
