It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Elliott "Ale" Southwind at the age of 41.
Son of Irene Southwind (late Richard) and the late Donald Nootchtai (Judy). Father of Britney and Christopher. Brother of Jason, the late Donald (late Charlotte), Tanya (Kevin), Dawn (Kevin) and Robert (Lindsay) and Brent. Proud uncle of Bishop, Logan, Terrell, Denver, Miesha, Mason, Paige, Brooke, Brandon, Chase, Natasha, Jessica, Jacob, Gabrielle, Judy, Sydney and Lennon. Proud Great Uncle to Axel, Emma, Oliver and Isodore. Best friend and cousin to many, Elliott will be especially missed by his dog, Ray.
He will be fondly remembered by all of his nieces and nephews for being the best uncle. In his spare time, Elliott loved fishing, woodworking and the outdoors. He was very sentimental and he held on to many items that were given to him by others. Elliott was always very outgoing and wasn't afraid to strike up a conversation with anyone who was around. He had no filter, he would always tell it like it was, and didn't try to sugar-coat anything. Elliott had a love for eagles, and now he's soaring with them.
Friends and family are invited to visit Sagamok New Community Hall in Sagamok Ontario, on Friday, December 9th from 1:00 P.M. until time of the service the following day on Saturday, December 10, from 11:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations (Made payable by cheque or online) the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
