Henry George Shook passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 17th, 2024 at the Village of Erin Meadows in Mississauga, ON at the age of 97. Beloved husband to the late Irene, Father to Donna Enfelis (Rick), Grandfather to Terra Richardson (Ian) and Great Grandfather to Elle Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Olga, twin to Herbert Shook (late Alvira), sibling to Marian Johnson (late Harry), Mae Tarter (late Bill), Gerald Shook (Monique), Vivian Rhodes (John), Roger Shook and Wayne Shook.
Predeceased by his in-laws Logan Leslie (late Sigrid), Franklin Leslie (late Irene), Ella Ralph (late Dean), Marylin Aubertin (late Eddy) and survived by Joan Sackville (late Bill).
Henry was born on May 12th, 1971 and lived a long, full life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family. A wonderful dad, grandpa and pops, Henry cherished every moment spent with his family, always providing guidance, warmth, kindness and fun. His wisdom and gentle heart will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Henry's presence in our lives was a gift, and his memory will be treasured forever.
Rest in peace, dear Hanker. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
