Passed away peacefully with his daughter and granddaughter by his side on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in his 100th year.
Everett is now reunited with his dear wife and best friend Emily Shelswell. Loving father of Lorrie Shelswell-Lippe (Eric Hamilton)(late Ian Lippe). Adored grandfather of Crystal McDonald (John). Great grandfather of Seth and Adam McDonald. Predeceased by his parents David and Deninah Shelswell. Brother of late Reginald Shelswell (late Marie) and late John Shelswell (late Bernice). Son-in-law of the late Thomas and late Mary Denne. Brother-in-law of late Elizabeth Grigg (late Gordon), late Evelyn McEdwards (late Jim), late Roy Denne (late Cora), late Archie Denne (late Marie) and the late James Denne (late Edith). Everett will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends. Nothing was more important to Everett than this family. Everett always said "Together we are everything, separate we fall."
Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Funeral service to take place in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 am with Len and Brenda Lewis officiating. Everett will be laid to rest with his wife Emily at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario, ARCH, or charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Lisa Perry for her compassion and care she provided to Everett. To our dear friend Brenda Lewis, thank you for sharing this journey with us and Everett.
