It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. Just seven days short of her 96
th birthday. She passed away peacefully with her children by her side. She left this world to join her husband Arnold Shaughnessy. She leaves to mourn her eight children, Wayne (Joni), Arlene (late Roger), Margo (Ed), Beverly (David), Randy (Ina), Mike (Linda), Fred (Cindy) and Mary Ellen (Warren). From this large group of siblings, she was blessed with twenty grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. She had six brothers and sisters of her own, Donelda (late Wally), Sandra (Michael), late Iva, late Frederick, late Cecil, late Melvin, and late John. She was also the loved sister-in-law to Florence (late Herman), Cecile (late Kip), June (late Barry), late Helen (late Bruce), late Ruth (late Bill), late John (late Donna), late Kenny (Adeline), and Gerald (Mary). Joyce will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joyce had a great love and passion for her vegetable and flower gardens. Joyce loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She took great pride in all of her children and grandchildren. At Joyce’s request, a private family service will take place. Memorial contributions to Philadelphia Church of God or Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
