(1976 – 2022) - With broken hearts, our family announces the passing of our beloved Darlene “Dee Dee” on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the age of 45.

Beloved partner of James Seguin. Much-loved mother of the late Ricky, Meagan (Connor), Mikayla, and Ryan. Very special "Gran Gran" of Carson-Richard, Grace, and Madilyn. Daughter of the late Patrick Service and Darlene Roy. Cherished sister of John Jette. Adored aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Darlene will be forever remembered for her warm heart and energetic personality. She was always at her happiest when she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Darlene loved camping, vacationing on the beach, hanging out with her beloved friends Jen, Shelly, and Rachel, and bringing light to the dance floor at the "Rosie". The smiles and laughter that Darlene brought to the faces of her friends and family will never be forgotten.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 noon with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. A Celebration of Darlene’s life will be held in the evening at the “Rosie” Reggie’s West (306 Korah Rd.).

A special thank you to the Sault Area Hospital Intensive Care Unit staff for their compassion and care during this difficult time. The team worked around the clock for six days to help guide and support Darlene's wishes for organ donation. A special mention to those who donated to the Go Fund Me for Darlene. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. www.northwoodfuneral.com

We know Ricky welcomed her with open arms at Heaven's gates. May they continue to guide and watch over us from above; free of all worry, fear, and pain.
