April 20th, 1961 - March 1st, 2025
Following a brief illness, it is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Lou-Ann, our beloved daughter, sister, and aunt who left us peacefully on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at the tender age of 63.
She is survived by her adoring mother Arlene and father Giorgio. Lou- Ann was an amazing big sister to Georgina (Neil Goodman), John (Dr. Lisa Allen) and Paula (Martin Fiser). Lou-Ann was a proud aunt to Adrian, Lucas, Lincoln and Amelia, who brought her such joy and laughter in the time that she spent with them. Lou-Ann leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles and cousins who completed her family circle.
Lou-Ann lived a peaceful life and captured the hearts of all who crossed her path. Her days were filled with the simple things in life which were granted by the support of all the workers at the PACT team. Lou-Ann held a special place in her heart for Bill and Val who cared for her with true compassion and respect.
Having the purest of hearts, Lou-Ann inspired our family to always be our most authentic selves. Lou-Ann emulated honesty and humility and reminded us to live our lives as she did, with peace and kindness.
Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Apostle, Dr. Law, all the nurses of 3B and especially Emily who was an angel in Lou-Ann’s final moments.
As per the family's request, a private family gathering has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the SAHF Palliative Care Fund, SAHF Cancer Care Fund or St. Jerome's Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522). Please visit www.arthurfuneralhome.com obituaries section to leave a message of condolence as a keepsake for the family.
