SCOTT, Marnie Dawn (Haynes)

We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Marnie in a tragic accident in Kanchanaburi, Thailand on June 18, 2022 at the age of 49. Beloved wife of Joe Scott for 26 years. Cherished mother of Kiera and Maija. Treasured daughter of Alice Haynes, late Syd and daughter-in-law of the late Beth and John Scott. Dear sister of Mark Nault (Annale), Joe Nault (Tammy), Brad Nault (Debbie), Debbie Wanamaker (Peter), Auralee Haynes (Ross Walton) and Tracey McDowell (Steve). Sister-in-law to Ken Ervin (Karen), Roy Ervin (Tina), Chris Ervin and Jim Ervin (Judy). Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marnie was passionate about many things – first of which was serving her Lord and Saviour and sharing His love with everyone she met. Secondly, the love of her life, husband, and soulmate Joe. They were constant companions in all of life's adventures and hardships. Marnie's daughters were her pride and joy and she raised them to be lovers of God – strong, independent women. Heaven is now her home. She has gone on ahead, but this separation is only temporary.  We will see her again in glory! As Marnie would wish, we shall endeavour to continue living this life with love and compassion, moving forward together. She was light. She was love.
