It is with great sorrow and profound sadness we must announce the sudden passing of our loving mother and grandmother Rose. She passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the age of 78, she was born August 7, 1941.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Tino Scopacasa. Very much loved mother of Teresa Gavin (Jeff), Nick Scopacasa Anna), and Dan Scopacasa. Very special grandmother of Tyler Gavin (Melanie), Bryce Gavin (Jordan), Michael Scopacasa (Tianna), Christopher Scopacasa (Chantal), and Kyle Scopacasa. Much loved daughter to the late Nick and Alice Acciavatti. Sister of Frank Acciavatti (Aili), and Ron Acciavatti. Rose will be forever missed by her furry companions Rocky and Molson. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love for her family. There was nothing she wouldn’t do or sacrifice for her loved ones. Everyone who knew Rose knew how totally selfless she was, she always put others first. In keeping with Rose’s wishes a family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made in Rose’s memory.
