Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, December 19, 2022 in her 96th year.
She is now reunited with her husband of 69 years Herbert (2018). Cherished mom of Patrick (Terri). Proud Oma of Lisa, Nancy (Mark), Richard (Alison), Amanda (Geoff) and the late Jason. Very proud Great Oma of Celine, Rylie, Jaxson, Katelyn and Zoe. Sister of Reineria (late Ernst) and Ida (late Paul). Special Aunt of Edith (Joe) and Heidi and many nieces and nephews in Europe.
Pat and Terri would like to thank Edith for all your love and support to allow mom to stay in her home until her last days. To all the PSWs, EMTs, ER Staff, Dr. Fera, Dr. Apostle and the nursing staff on 3B for their compassionate care allowing her last days to be dignified and comfortable.
As per mom's wishes there will be no services. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
