It is with sadness that we say "Good Bye for now" to our much loved David. Cherished Husband of Adele and much loved Dad of (late) Judy Jolie, Cathy Elliott (Chris), Patty Babcock ( Michael), David Jr. (Darlene) and stepdaughter Mary Lou Elgie. Papa of 9 and Great Grandpapa of 5.
Friend and brother of Graham (Shirley), and Dr. Ben Sawer (Cathy). Brother-in-law and special friend of Pat Nardini (Dolores). Special friend to Jack and Ning Schikofsky.
Dave was an "Insurance Man '' to the end and proudly served as a Volunteer at the Sault Area Hospital in many capacities for 15 years. He loved whatever he did whether it was cutting grass, snow blowing or boat building and he was always available and loved people.
A huge bouquet of thanks to all Maple View nursing home staff, particularly Lake Superior, 4th floor for the care, hope encouragement given to David over these past years.
Friends and family are invited to meet at Bethel Bible Chapel on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 11:30 until time of service at 12:00 with Rev. Len Peake officiating. Friends are invited to view the service online on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 12:00 pm. The service can be viewed anytime up to 90 days.
