Passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Loving partner of Chantelle Day. Beloved father of Aurora, AJ, Tyson and Hunter. Cherished son of the late Bobbi-Jo Russell, Mike Seward and Cory Cress. Brother of Steven, late Courtney-Lynne, Chantel, Pasha, Meegwun, Qwaenzee and Migize. Grandson of Dorothy Charlebois-Pilon (late Paul) and late Dave Russell (Tina Bertolo). He will be greatly missed by many Nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Kyle grew up in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, which is where he got his love of the outdoors. He was often found outside or making fires. Kyle was a dedicated, hardworking man. He was known for the signature Russell laugh and his contagious smile. He was a dedicated father and avid family-man. He will be remembered as the best dad and his daughter Aurora's biggest fan.
Special thanks to his friend Ethan Buonomo who was with him at his side until the very end and to the EMT and OPP Officer Mark Dipasquale who escorted the ambulance out of Ranger Lake.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the Garden River Community Centre any time from 2 pm on Friday, October 11, 2024 to 1 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Memorial contributions made payable online or by cheque to the Lung Association or Women in Crisis would be greatly appreciated.
