Passed away on Sunday November 22, 2020 at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by the love of her three children. She had struggled with serious health problems for the last two years that became insurmountable despite her best efforts.
Jill was a loyal, accepting and loving mother to Taylor, Kealey (fiancé Kyle) and Kaleb. They were the focus of her life and she of theirs. Jill was the youngest daughter of Gail and Larry Russell (deceased 2019 and 1993), sister of Jennifer Russell-Smyth (David Smyth), Mark Russell (Breymann Cameron) and Bruce Russell and loving aunt to their children, Rachael, James, Celine, Sally, Remi, Kenza and Tijani. She also leaves behind several members of her extended Martens and Russell families. Jill was a true and steadfast friend to many and her presence in the lives of those friends and her family will be missed tremendously.
There will be a private graveside ceremony at Old Greenwood Cemetery with no visitation at this time.
