In loving memory of Faye Rhonda June Roy (Shawana) 45 years, passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Toronto just one day after her birthday on Monday, June 10th, 2024.
Loving daughter of James (Victoria) Roy both predeceased and Janet “Polly” Trudeau, and Ronald Peltier Trudeau predeceased. Dear stepdaughter of Cecil Trudeau. Loving sister of Sandford Roy predeceased, Junior Roy (Karen) of Toronto, Jody Shawana, Waylon Shawana (Kim), Michael Trudeau all of Sault Ste. Marie, Junior Shawana (Wendy) of Michipicoten First Nation, Joseph Shawana (Vanessa) of Toronto, Pauline “Charlie” Shawana predeceased, Daniel King of Cape Croker, and Sevanna Fox of Sudbury.
Beloved granddaughter of Rebecca Trudeau predeceased, Nelson Shawana predeceased and Kathleen Peltier of Wikwemikong, Lawrence Trudeau predeceased, Marie Roy predeceased, and Wimtik Roy predeceased.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially her very special friend, cousin Meryca Abel.
Resting at St. Ignatius Church in Buzwah on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, friends may gather after 3:00 pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 11:00 A.M at Holy Cross Mission Church in Wikwemikong. Interment in the Upper Cemetery to follow.
