October 6, 1948 – June 22, 2024
Died peacefully at NSHN-Blind River with his daughter by his side but after being surrounded by his wife Bev and family for weeks of laughter, reminiscing and love. Beloved by his wife of 52 years, Bev (nee Gardiner). Father of Hilary. Brother of Pamela Dumoulin (Roger). Brother-in-law of Reg Gardiner (Dawna) and Gordon Gardiner (Susan). Predeceased by his parents Candace and John Robinson and parents in law Jean and Cal Gardiner. Uncle to many nieces and nephews and close friend to many. He’ll be met on the other side by a lifetime of beloved family dogs.
Jim had a gruff exterior hiding a great sense of humour and a kind heart that those close to him loved him for.
He didn’t die… he’s just paving a different road.
The family wants to thank NSHN-Blind River Site for their care and compassion in the last month and NSHN-Thessalon Site for 4 years of quick and efficient care. Special thank you to Amy Shoust for 2.5 years of exceptional home care.
