Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in her 92 year. Beloved wife of the late Clinton (2019) for 68 years. Loving mother of Lauraine Robertson, Clint Robertson (Nicole), Gill Miller (Ken) and the late Anne Robertson. Proud grandmother of Brittany Wojcieszynski (Patrick), Jake Robertson (Kayla), Alex Miller and Colin Miller (Kati). Great grandmother of Cole Wojcieszynski. Predeceased by her siblings Frances Langlois, Margaret Chartrand (late Claude) and Leo Chevalier (Monica) all of Montreal. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews and will be missed by Steve Vance (Rosanne) and family.
Bernice capably took on community work for many years (ADMRS, May Court and Justice of the Peace).
As per Bernice’s wishes cremation has taken place. A family gathering to honour her memory will take place at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. K. Wacker, Dr. K. Booth, the LHIN (Liz Priddle), CBI (Amy) and the Paramed nurses (Theresa, Holly and Robin). The caring and devoted staff at Pathways Retirement Home (where Bernice spent her last 3 ½ years) will always be remembered with much gratitude.
