After a valiant battle over many years, Pauline passed away surrounded by her family at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the age of 72. Beloved wife and best friend of 50 years to David Rilley.  Loving mother of Chantal, Danielle (Roger Lavallée) and Gregory (Lonna).  Pauline’s greatest joy were her grandkids Kaitlyn, Lauren, Riley, Ryan, Carly, Mya, Sydney, Ella.  Fondly remembered and loved by her sisters Shirley (Francois) and Marise (Yvan) and brother Luc (Sherry).  Predeceased by her parents Roland and Yvette Blanchet; sisters and brothers Huguette, Yvon, Real, Nicole and Lucette.  Also remembered fondly by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and countless friends.  Pauline was born in Biencourt, Quebec and grew up in Blind River were she met David. They married and moved to the Sudbury area.  After raising their family in Garson, Pauline and David returned to Blind River when they retired.  She touched the lives of many and her crystal blue eyes will never be forgotten.  A special thank you to her sister Shirley for her loving care and assistance given over the last five years.  Memorial Mass to be held in Paroisse Ste Famille in Blind River on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., Père A.S. Lourdu officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the North Shore Health Network Foundation, Blind River Site (Golden Birches Terrace) or to the SAH Foundation Cancer Care Unit.  Our hearts are shattered but we know your suffering has ended.  Love you for always.
