Passed away peacefully at her home with her sister Judy and her spoiled fur-baby Elly-May by her side on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the age of 71. Mary was reunited with her mother Loretta, her father Fred and her siblings Freida, William "Buck", Anna and Fred "Rusty". Mary will be missed dearly and is survived by her siblings Judy (late Eddie), Peter, Felix "Turk" (late Heather), Leo (Patty), Randy (Marja), Bernie (Art) and by her step-children Sean and Tanya Reid.
Mary was a beloved aunt, sister, grandma, great-grandma and friend. Mary will be remembered by all who knew her and dearly missed by all those whose life she touched in her own loving and special way. Mary will be forever missed by her grandson Kyle (Victoria) as she loved him dearly and was so proud of the man and father he became. Mary was over the moon with joy when Kyle and Victoria welcomed their son Mason into the world, making her a great - grandma.
Meena will be forever loved, missed and cherished by her niece and Goddaughter Randi with whom she had a special bond, connection and friendship.
Special thanks to Mary's sister Judy who provided Mary with excellent comfort, care, company and compassion in her last few months. At Mary's request there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations (payable online or by cheque) to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
