John Fergus Reid passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Sault Area Hospitals on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 in his 84th year. Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, he moved from Toronto to the Sault in 1965 then retired in Orillia, Ontario in the late 1980's and finally came back to the Sault this September. He leaves behind his much loved wife Eileen (Carson), his sons, Ian (Millie) of California and Blair (Tracey) of Sault Ste. Marie, grandchildren Stephanie, Anne, Trisha, Jacob, Robert, Joshua and Meghan. Brother of the late Graham and the late George. Brother-in-law of Ed Carson (Nellie) of Show Low, Arizona and the late Harry Sutton (Louise). Much loved uncle of Heather of Tobermory, Tricia of Toronto, Susan of Dunnville and Marilyn or Windsor. Fergus was also in WWII overseas and was a member of the K of C and the Royal Canadian Legion.
