REID, Janice (nee MacKay)

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our cherished mother Janice at the Sault Area Hospital with her family by her side on May 10, 2017 at the age of 64.  Janice leaves behind her son Jeremy, daughters Rhonda and Robin, daughters-in-law Erin and Kallie.  She was the adored Grandma of Jayden, Kyle, Tyrus and Teigan.  Dear daughter of Mary Lucille (Jean) and the late Lyle MacKay.  Loving sister of Wayne (Judy), Norman (Jan), Larry (Ferne) MacKay and special nieces and friend to Shirley Nolan.  She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was reunited in heaven with her dad Lyle MacKay, grandson Jeremy Robert Ross Reid and her sister-in-law Chrissy MacKay.  At the request of Janice, she was remembered by her family at a private service held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.  For those who wish to honour Janice’s memory, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.  Special thanks to the ICU staff at the Sault Area Hospital for all their care and support.  Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com.
