Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Paavo. Cherished mother of Erkki and Elisa. Loved Mummu of Melisa Johnson (Mark), Craig Sagle (Charlene), and Daniel Sagle and 5 Great Grandchildren: Sara, Ashlyn, Dani, Claire and Declan. Survived by her sisters Elma, Annikki, Salme and brother Pentti and many relatives in Finland. Godmother of Jussi Haapa-aho and Markku Koski. In respecting Rauna’s wishes, a private family service was held on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Rev. Brad Mittleholtz and Rev. Paul Raappana officiated. Interment took place at Greenwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Ontario Finnish Rest Home Association would be appreciated by the family.
