Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Robbin Rancier for 49 years. Loving mother of Amy Brownlee (Ray). Proud grandma of Lucy Brownlee. Predeceased by her parents Betty and Leo Koivisto. Dear sister of Stephen (Nadine), late Ken ( late Brenda), Gary (Victor) and Tim (Donna). Phyllis will be missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Phyllis was a devoted teacher with the Algoma District School Board, enriching the lives of many young people. She loved spending time gardening, quilting and in the company of her swim group. Phyllis was an active and proud member of the UCW for many years. Friends are invited for a graveside service on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 3 pm at Pine Grove Cemetery with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating (Maximum 100 people, masks mandatory and all COVID-19 restrictions apply).
