RAINS, Wayne Raymond

(July 29, 1952 - February 26, 2019) - Peacefully surrounded by his loving family into the arms of his Heavenly Father at the age of 66. Cherished husband and best friend of Emily (nee Campbell).  Dearly loved father of Melony Robinson (Paul), Sarah (Buddy Graves) and Missy Rains-Vanderburg (Craig).  Proud Papa of Whalen (Sarah) and Max Robinson, Leah and Connor Norfolk and Logan, Hannah and Naomi Vanderburg.  Treasured son of Mary Lou and the late Murray Rains.  Dear brother of Jean Nelson (Charlie) and Ross Rains (Suzie).  Son-in-law of Geraldine and the late Douglas Campbell.  Brother-in-law of Robert Campbell (Dona), Linda Hawdon (Harold), late James Campbell (Melanie) and Shirley Hawdon (late Hugh).  Special uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Wayne will be remembered for his deep love for his family and compassion for those who were laid upon his heart.  Friends are invited to visit at the Free Methodist Church (St. Joseph Island) on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11 am - 1 pm with service to follow at 1:30 pm.    Pastor Adrian Collins and Mr. David Campbell officiating.  Memorial contributions to the Matthews Memorial Hospital Association would be greatly appreciated.  Special thank you to all of the medical staff for their thoughtful care.  A special thank you to Nurse Amy.  Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522).
