We are very saddened to announce the sudden passing of a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandma, and great grandma Helmi Powley on October 11, 2024, in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years Frank Powley, sister Aino (Gerry) Souliere and Henry (Louise) Eklund of the Sault. Predeceased by brother Olavi (Cecil) Eklund.
Beloved mother of Frank (Ruth) Powley, Kaarina (Shawn) Harriman, Lorne Powley and Esther-Rose Powley. Beloved grandma of Jared (Sarah), Ryan (Amber), Spencer, Evan, Kyle, Corban, and Sydney. Great grandma to Jari and Oakley. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
