Christopher Pollari, loving husband to Barbara, died suddenly at his home on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the age of 49.

Left behind are his three sons, Lucas, Brandon and Marcus. Proud grandpa of Mason, McKenna, Miley, Silas, Blake and Aurora. Cherished son of Paavo and Marjatta Pollari. Loving brother of Matti (Michelle), Mike (Marjo), Maija (Pete), Margaret Tarvudd (Pekka), Paavo, Helen Andretta (Terry), Johnny (Janis), Rebecce Foran, Anita Sonke (Les), Dinah Horner (Keith) and James (Teresa). Chris will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Christopher loved his farm. Being a family farm for generations, Christopher took great pride in it. He enjoyed time spent outdoors, from going to the beach or fishing and hunting with his friends, to visiting the ocean every year with Barbara.

Christopher was well respected in our community, as a businessman, farmer, butcher, hunter and friend. Christopher worked at Island Timber Mart for many years. He will be missed by fellow employees, contractors and many loyal customers. He was an amazing father, incredibly proud grandfather and a great friend.

A sincere thank you to the RAM clinic. Dr. Maloney, Christine and Vickie for all your support, guidance and compassion over the years. It has been greatly appreciated. Thank you to all who were there for him and helped Christopher out, in his moments of need. Though he is gone, he will never be forgotten.

Cremation has taken place. Donations made to the St. Joseph's General Hospital Elliot Lake – Camillus Centre (payable by cheque or online at https://sjghel.ca/Donate ).
