(January 22, 1925-April 3, 2018) -With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Fred in the presence of loving family at Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Amelia (Prokop) for over 61 years. Loving and much loved father of Elaine Pitcher (Dave Galotta). Son of the late George and Ada Pitcher. Predeceased by his brothers, sisters and their spouses: Clarice Mathieu (Charles), Roy (Luella), Alberta Elliott (Leslie), Gwen Callison (Grover) and George. Also predeceased by his Brothers-in-law Lloyd (June) and Stanley Prokop. Fred will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at Arthur Funeral Home –Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) for a time of remembrance on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm. Interment has taken place in the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery.
