Pettit, Michael John

Michael John Pettit passed away peacefully at his home in Sioux Lookout, Ontario on Thursday,February 20,2014. He is survived by his beloved wife Tara (Welbourne) Pettit of Sioux Lookout, cherished father of Mackenzie 11, Carson 7, and Riley 5. Loving son of Kathy Pettit Adams (John), of Richards Landing and John Robertson Pettit (deceased). Dear brother to Kelly Pettit of Sault Ste Marie and Uncle to Micheil (Laura), and Kristen (Patrick). Dear son-in-law of Lorne Welbourne of Schreiber and Roberta Welbourne of Thunder Bay. Dear brother-in-law Chris Welbourne (Pat) of Thunder Bay and Uncle of Lucca. He will be missed by many aunts and uncles, as well as his MNR family.
Friends and family are invited to join us on Sunday, June 29, from 1:00 – 3:00 at the Harmony Tea Room,786 I Line, St Joseph Island,as we celebrate Mike`s life.  No interment is planned. The family will be scattering Mike`s ashes the next day as per Mike`s request.
If desired, donations in Mike’s memory may be made to "A Port in The Storm", a Winnipeg patient facility which was a home away for home for Mike and his family during his many cancer treatments, or to the Mackenzie, Carson, and Riley Trust fund .
