(Dec 18, 1916 - March 13, 2021) - Passed away peacefully at home with her son by her side on March 13, 2021 at the age of 104.

Beloved wife of the late Mike Perepelytz. Loving mother to Brenda Lynn and Bruce Perepelytz.  Proud Granny of Trevor Lynn, Tiffany Gates (David), Shawn Perepelytz (Teddy), Kelly Walker (Jeremy) and Shannon Perepelytz (Michael).  Adoring Great Granny of Madison Gates, Owen Gates, Michael Perepelytz, Steven Perepelytz, Justin Perepelytz, Kristofer Walker, Karlee Walker, Tyler Bodin, and Josie Spitzig.

Mom was born and raised in Clackmannan, Scotland and is predeceased by her parents Jean and George Fairlie and siblings Elizabeth Driesdale (Jim), Marion Blair (Jim), George Fairlie (Doris), James Fairlie, and Isabel Stobie (Alex).

When Mom married Dad, she inherited six sisters and 1 brother - late Mary Scali (late Louis),  late Helen Kenopic (late Andy), late Nellie Humphries (late Alfred),  Annie Nino (late Ralph), Doreen Toyne (Bill), late Shirley Anne Grosso (Jerry) and late James Perepelytz.  Family gatherings were always full of happy times and good food.

Mom is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews including her godchild, Lori Kennedy.

Mom came to Canada as a young war bride having met Dad in England where they were stationed during World War II.  Mom was serving as a WAAF (female auxiliary of the Royal Air Force) and Dad in the Royal Canadian Air Force.  Mom and Dad married in Clackmannan, Scotland.

Mom embraced her new home and family touching the lives of many over the years.

She was a remarkable woman of strength and passion who exemplified the value of hard work and determination.  At age 72, after Dad's sudden passing she learned to drive a car, passed her driver's license test and never looked back.

Mom cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoying happy times with them especially at camp in Brimley - sharing stories around the campfire or having her favourite fish dinner.  In recent years, Mom took great pleasure in being the neighbourhood watch, sitting out front on her patio watching, waving, and chatting with neighbours as they passed by.

We are fortunate to be left with so many wonderful memories to hold dear in our hearts. Mom no longer walks beside us but she will always live within our hearts.

The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Vance, Dr. Fera, Dr. Apostle, Nurse Sue Doucette, Anticoagulation clinic with special recognition to Nurse Lianne, Bayshore Nurses with special recognition to Nurse Mary Ann and the paramedics of the non-emergency ambulance crew.
