1929 – 2024
The family of Marie Penfold regret to announce her passing at Extendicare Van Daele on August 27, 2024, in her 95th year. Marie passed peacefully with her family by her side.
Marie will be sadly missed by her children Patty Penfold, Penny Theriault (Terry), Jim Penfold (Kathy) and reunited with the late Wallace Penfold Jr. Cherished grandmother of Dave Armstrong (Rita), late Doug Armstrong, Dan Armstrong, Emmanuel Theriault, Dave Theriault, Marie Claire Theriault (Sheldon), Andrew Theriault (Kaylyn), Jason Penfold (Cynthia), Ryan Penfold (Keely) and Shannon Penfold (Chris). Marie also leaves behind 8 wonderful great grandchildren.
Marie is the daughter of the late Ed and Elsie Souliere. Predeceased by her siblings Edna Komhyr, Bob Souliere, Ed Souliere Jr., Roy Souliere, Donna Dowding, Dennis Souliere (Linda) and survived by Louise Starzomski, Jerry Souliere (Aino) and Harry Souliere (Kris).
Marie will always be loved and remembered by her family. We hope to continue your legacy of strength, resilience and humour.
Rest in peace.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff on the 3rd floor at Van Daele, especially ‘Number 1’.
