October 28th, 1972 – May 9th, 2023
Ian was born in Sault Ste Marie and passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his 51st year on Tuesday at the Ottawa Civic Campus Hospital.
The soulmate, best friend and husband of Courtney, they lived life as one for 20 years. He will be deeply missed by his fur-baby, Maisie. Cherished son of Sharron and the late George Patterson. Beloved brother of Debbi (Hector) McDonald. Best loved Uncle of Jordan (Amy) Williamson. Special nephew and cousin to many. He will also be lovingly remembered by his extended family and numerous friends.
His family wanted to express their gratitude to all those who helped with Ian’s medical and personal needs during his illness but they are especially grateful for the exceptional care of Ian by the staff of the Dialysis Unit and D-5 floor of the Ottawa Civic Campus Hospital.
