John Glenn Brian Patteri passed away suddenly on August 24, 2024, at the age of 61 years at his home in the Yukon Territory.
He was born on October 22, 1962, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario as the tenth of eleven children born to Mauri and Tilda Patteri. Johnny was predeceased by his parents and two older siblings: Seppo Patteri (Leena) and Kirsti Goslow (Dennis).
Johnny is survived by eight siblings: Soili Alholinna (Pekka), Henry Patteri (Janet), Raili Cardinal (Mark), Pauli Patteri (Annette), Tarja Ahonen, Tuula Burger (Calvin), Susan Farrell (Bernard) and Jeannie Cormier (Mark).
Johnny will be greatly missed by his siblings, including many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, the Christian friends at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church and others.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 742 Third Line East, Sault Ste. Marie, ON followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pauli Patteri officiating. Interment to follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, 4" Line East, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
