Posted

Paradis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, father, brother and grandfather. Jeremy passed away unexpectedly with his mother by his side on April 15, 2022. Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Pauline Shook (Bill) and his father, Claude Paradis. Grandson of the late Leonard & Mary Arbour of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Paul & Yvette Paradis. Loving father of Amberia (Jason) of Barrie and Jessica (Cody) of For St. John, B.C. Grandfather of Aidyn and Kayson.

He will always be remembered by his brothers, Brian Paradis (Heather) of Sudbury and Kenny Shook (Stacey) of Vernon, B.C. Uncle of Jade, Lana, Vaughn, and Deacon. He was loved by his many aunts and uncles in Canada and the USA.

Jeremy was born on March 14, 1973, in Sault Ste. Marie, ON and leaving this world at only 49 years old. He enjoyed his employment throughout the years and was known to work hard for what he wanted.

Most important to Jeremy was his family. He was proud of his daughters and enjoyed spending time with his brothers. If you knew Jeremy, you also knew how much he loved an after work beer in the sun.

Jeremy had a kind heart and loved his friends and family deeply. After long hours of work, he also ensured to give his loved ones a call, no matter how late it was, even if it was to say hello. Spending time at the camp brought joy to Jeremy.

As per Jeremy’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Misty’s Fifties (658 Second Line West) from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday April 23, 2022.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (payable by cheque or online).
