Lena Palahnuk passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Mike Palahnuk. Dear mother of Robert Palahnuk and the late Arthur Palahnuk. Grandmother of Laura and Robert Jr. Palahnuk of Toronto. Lena is survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Special aunt to Wilma Garson (Glenn) and special friend to Annie McKie. Friends may call at the O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, corner of Cathcart and St. James Streets on Saturday, November 30, from noon until time of the funeral and committal service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Victor Amadio officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Special thanks to Doctor Grosso and Dr. Fratesi as well as the many caring nurses on 200Y for their care and concern during Lena's illness.
