Passed away peacefully at the Lady Dunn Health Center on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018 at the age of 62 years. Beloved wife, “better half” of Jim Hoffmann. Loving and supportive mother of Conor (Carissa Skaleki) and Erin. Daughter of Doris and the late Arthur Parkinson. Dear sister and best friend of Lorna Parkinson. Special sister-in-law of Rudy Hoffmann (Terry Ann). Gwynne will be remembered by her many cousins, friends and former patients. A Celebration of her life will take place at the Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre (Chris Simon Drive, Wawa) on Tuesday Aug. 14, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Memorial donations made to the Lady Dunn Health Centre Oncology Department would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Park, Dr. Spadafora, Dr. Taylor, Louise Needham, the nurses at the Lady Dunn Health Center and the Sault Area Hospital Oncology Unit for their wonderful care given to Gwynne.
