Of Sault Ste. Marie and previously of Larder Lake, Ontario. Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, December 29, 2019. Survived by her children David (Madeleine) of Morrisburg, ON and Barbara O’Shaughnessy-Hind (Colin) of Hamilton, Bermuda, her granddaughters Shailagh of Ottawa, ON and Catherine O’Shaughnessy-Archambault (Jean-Pierre) of Val des Monts, PQ, and her sister-in-law Dory. Deeply missed by nieces Mary-Margaret, Alison, Mindy, Cathy and Shauna all of Sault Ste. Marie and nephews Jeff (Sault Ste. Marie), John (Sudbury), Patricia (Toronto) and Maureen (Costa Rica). She was also fortunate to have many grandnieces and grandnephews as part of her extended family, late Aaron, Mathew, Chelsea, Christine, Micheal, Alison, Janice, John-Jr. (Sudbury) and Micheal (Calgary) as well as great granddaughters Laura and Annabelle. Predeceased by her parents Dave and Margaret Holmes, her siblings Patricia, Wallace and Douglas, brothers-in-law, Bill and Jack, sisters-in-law, Gladys, Mildred and Margaret. Special thanks to Alison, Cathy and Chelsea for all their comfort afforded to Colleen in these recent weeks. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life in Sault Ste. Marie will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
