Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the age of 94.

Born to Stanley and Louise Hepburn. Predeceased by the love of her life, husband Merlind Osborne. Loving mother of Norman, Lorraine (Peter) and Linda (Gary). Cherished Nana of Robbie (Katie), Courtney, Krystle (Joe), Adam (Brittany), Katie (Jeff), Lisa (Louie) and Julie (Dan) of New Zealand. Great Nana of Cody, Cavan, Carson, Bentley, Jett and Charlotte. Devoted sister of the late Ellery (late Mae), late Eileen, late Lorna (Bev), late Allan (late Audrey), Norma (Barry), Lynda (late Mel), Maisie (Ian), and late John (Doreen). Alice will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Alice was born in Hope Bay, ON. She met Merlind in Wiarton, ON, they got married, settled in Sault Ste. Marie, ON and had three children. She sat on the bench listening to cases for many years as the Deputy Sheriff of the Supreme Court of Algoma; duties included inspecting different jails, penitentiaries and nursing homes, as well as transporting prisoners to their destinations. Together they built a cottage in Goulais Bay where they loved spending summers and most of their retired time. Travelling with family members and friends was a big part of her and Merlind's lives together, they travelled to many destinations.

The family would like to thank the F.J. Davey Home, especially Nurse Jennifer, and PSW Betsy. They would also like to thank Dr. Chow for his many years of care for both Alice and Merlind. Thank you to Dr. Blair Jarrett.
