Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Gertie. Loving father of Marilyn Olar, Linda Rogers (Gary), Doug Olar (Dawn), Brad Olar (Donna) and the late Danny. Proud grandfather of Wyatt, Cole, Josh, Lauren (Brad), Jacob and Brookelyn. Good friend of Isabell. Dear brother of George Olar (late Ruth), Pauline Pallot (late Lawrence), Annie Derkach (Ed), Carolyne Strong (late Walter), Nicky Olar (Janice) and predeceased by Bill Olar, John Olar (late Dot), Dorothy Burke (late Albert), Alex Olar (late Dot), Helen Ambeault (late Ray), Walter Olar (Isabell), Paul Olar (late Pat), Charlie Olar (late Leona), Eli Olar (Fay), Marion Olar, Nellie Loney (Stan) and Harry Olar. Brother in law of Vera Kates (late Joe) and predeceased by Hely Innes (late Mark) and Andy Timberg (late Marion). Dan will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
