It is with great sorrow that the family announces his sudden passing away, Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at the Laurentian Hospital in Sudbury. (77 years young). Beloved husband of Jean O’Dair of Blind River. Dear father of Terry (Mike) Bellerose of Sudbury, Billy (Chantal) O’Dair of Blind River and Tia O’Dair Falldien of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Melanie, Nicholas, Dustin, Jasmine (Jason Pirie), Cody, Joshua and Rachel. Treasured great grandfather of Evan, Skyler, Noah, Jillian, Kathrine and Cassandra. Dear brother of George (Francis) O’Dair of Cornwall and the late Kathleen Morin (Gatain) of Cornwall. Loved brother-in-law of DeDe Richard of Bind River and Claudette (Dick) Murray of Calgary. Special father-in-law and friend of Philip Falldien and Neil McPhail of Sudbury. Bill made many friends through his dedication of 30 plus years servicing the communities as an Electrical Inspector for Ontario Hydro, and his love serving as a Justice of the Peace for the Province of Ontario for 29 years. His most cherished love was of family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. A Memorial wake will be held Saturday January 24 from 2 to 4 pm from Menard Funeral Home in Bind River. Donations to the Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
