Passed away peacefully at ARCH on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at the age of 56, with his wife and daughter by his side. Survived by his wife Crystal of 9 years and loving father of Danielle. Son of the late Roy and Mary Nottingham. Son-in-law of Helen and Karl Christiansen. He will be missed dearly by his sister Adella (Richard) and brother Dillard, both of thunder Bay. Fondly remembered by his niece, nephew, many cousins and friends. Dean was a loyal friend to many and will always be remembered for his generosity and devotion to helping others in need. A very special thank you to Bobby and Marney Romano for having Dean’s back since day one, and to Heather and Frank Glover for all their care and assistance during his final days. Thank you to Dr. Niki Apostle and Dr. Rassouli from the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Program as well as the staff at ARCH for the care and compassion they provided during his short stay.
