Peacefully at home on Friday, April 22, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Loving wife of 61 years to James. Beloved mother of Rick (Betty Lou), Lynne Miller (Peter) and Jim (Heather). Proud nana of Tammy Chasles (Roger), Tisha McDougall (Ryan), Sean Miller, Erin, Amy and Ali Nisbett. Great nana of Tyler and Spencer Chasles. Dear sister of Bill Smith (Lillian) and the late Ruth Barbeau (Jack) and James Smith. Sister-in-law of Jessie Predinchuk (late Steve) and Jack Nisbett (Lillian) and the late Agnes Brooks (Tom). Also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Betty worked for the City of Sault Ste. Marie at the Memorial Gardens for 32 years as concession supervisor and was a life member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, April 25, 2005 from 12:45 pm – 2:45 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev.
