Peacefully surrounded by her family, on Sunday May 8, 2022 at Sault Area Hospital at the age of 82.
Loving wife to David for nearly 50 years. Amazing mother to Debbie Newman, Charlene Hartmann (Bruce), Fred Quesnelle, Timmy Quesnelle, Vaughn Quesnelle and Bernie Quesnelle (Julie). Cherished grandmother to 11 and great grandmother 6. Survived by her brother Albert and predeceased by her brothers Oscar, Art, Benny, George, Rudolph, and sisters Ruth and Irene. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Verena was amazing at sewing, knitting and crocheting and was a fantastic cook. She loved cooking for her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Algoma Lung Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
