Knowing and feeling the love of family and friends from near and far Craig Morrison suddenly passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the age of 61. Loving and loyal husband to Josie (nee Sicoly) for 37 years. Cherished son to the late Dorothy and Robert Morrison and special nephew to the late Ella Caney (Auntie Biddy). He will be sorely missed by his children Laura (Owain), David (Amanda), and his Australian daughter Hendrika (Aaron). Proud Grandpa to Luca and Leo and Grandpa Craig to Willem and Jude. Close brother of Rob (Sheree), Don (Betsy) and Barb (Warren). Beloved son-in-law to Salvatore Sicoly (late Ada) and brother-in-law to Maria (Lynn), Rosa (Mike), Ron (Eva), Teresa, Michael (Amie). A dear Uncle Craig to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Craig's many friendships were fostered through his love of golf, basketball and visits to Mr. P's camp, and also through his 35 years of service with Canada Border Services Agency. He and Josie enjoyed travelling, especially to meet with family and friends around the world, notably in Germany, Italy and Australia. He shared his love of camping that started with his parents and siblings as a young boy and spread that love to his wife and kids and extended family through many camping adventures. Craig was forever grateful for the compassionate care he received over the last four years from the very many health providers, support workers and volunteers in Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury and Ottawa.
